Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JoinVet telehealth platform for veterinary clinics, available at joinvet.com and related applications (the "Service"), operated by JoinVet, Inc. ("JoinVet", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

JoinVet provides software that enables veterinary clinics to offer telehealth services, including virtual consultations, secure messaging, scheduling, digital forms, notifications, and online payments. JoinVet is a technology platform: we do not provide veterinary care, medical advice, or emergency services, and we are not a party to the relationship between clinics and pet owners.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at info@joinvet.com.
• Clinic administrators are responsible for the users they authorize within their clinic.

3. Subscriptions, Billing and Trials

• Access to the Service requires a paid subscription per clinic, billed on a recurring basis according to the plan selected at checkout.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
• Plan limits (such as video calls, messages, and uploads per billing cycle) are described on our pricing page and enforced by the Service.
• Trials, when granted, last 7 days, are limited to one per clinic, and convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
• We may change our prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from JoinVet related to the Service, such as appointment reminders, consultation notifications, verification codes, and account alerts.

• Message frequency varies depending on your activity and settings.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS will be sent.
• Get help by replying HELP to any message or contacting info@joinvet.com.
• Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including veterinary practice regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing through the Service.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent authentication or plan limits.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties outside your clinic without our written consent.
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service.

6. Veterinary Care Disclaimer

All veterinary care delivered through the Service is provided solely by the participating clinics and their licensed professionals, who are responsible for complying with applicable regulations, including Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) requirements. The Service is not intended for emergencies. If your pet has a medical emergency, contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by JoinVet and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription. You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service and grant us the license necessary to operate the Service on your behalf.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 9 and 10) will survive.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOINVET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO JOINVET IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
